This blend of vineyards from Santa Margarita Ranch and the Willow Creek District begins with dark berry on the nose as well as turned earth and licorice. The palate lands with a rich presence, yet it's also awash in acidity. Flavors of stewed black plum mesh into spice cake and more licorice, proving to be an exuberant sip.
