Yellow with green reflections, clean. Aromas of white flowers, stone fruit and aromatic herbs. Very fresh with good acidity, fruity and balanced.
Bodegas Volver's most prized asset is their heritage of vines and indigenous varieties cultivated in a sustainable way with minimal intervention. They practice organic viticulture, working the soil in the traditional way without the intervention of chemical products. At every stage of production great care is taken to maintain the freshness and acidity for which the Verdejo is known.

Spicy nose of black fruit, anise, cloves, tapenade and chili chocolate. Full-bodied with broad tannins and a spicy, fleshy palate. Some salty, savory undertones. Vegan. Why wait?
Captivating and full of character, Verdejo grows with great success in Rueda, Spain and virtually nowhere else in Europe. It has become so trendy in Spain since the turn of the century that plantings have also increased tremendously. Somm Secret—Contrary to what some may think, it is actually not related to the Portugese variety with a very similar name, Verdelho. In fact, DNA profiling suggests it may be a sibling of Godello, another native of NW Spain.
The Moors gave it the name, ‘Manxa,’ which fittingly means ‘parched earth.’ La Mancha, the largest Spanish wine producing region in all of Spain, is one of its hottest and driest. Sturdy and drought-resistant white varieietes like Airen, Viura and Verdejo thrive in this environment.
